One night lying in bed, I began thinking of different times in my life when Jesus has made Himself known to me, through something, someone, or just out of the blue when I least expected it. Today some call them God Moments. You know, those moments when you look heavenward and say, “I know that was you, God.” As Christians, we all have them; those moments when God responds to us in a very real and personal way. For me, it is those times that the presence of Jesus is so powerful, I can only look up and smile, praising Him for being such a personal part of my life. It is because of all the times He has touched me in a way no other ever has, or ever could, that I am reminded just how much He cares and how intimately He is involved with my everyday life. I realize He is there in the smallest detail, the most important decision and everything in between. There are times I wish I could share my stories with someone. Usually it is my mom, my sister and/or one of my kids. Yet, now, I want to share them with you as well. I love reading about God intervening in people’s lives. It somehow reminds me that He is not only a God who sits in all glory on Heavens throne, but He also walks with me, listens when I talk to Him, and guides my steps. There are times I think about all that is going on in the world and I wonder sometimes, “Does God really see me? Does He really care about that trivial thing that I can’t seem to deal with?” The answer? Yes He does, on both accounts. So my friends, this is what inspired me to share parts of my life with you, or with whoever chooses to read my stories. Maybe no one, but if even one would be encouraged, that one is enough. Everything I write comes from my heart, not as one who knows all of life’s answers, but as one who knows The One who has the answer for your every need. God is not dead. He is alive and well and wants an intimate relationship with you.
So, this is my blog in which I am sharing my own, personal journey with Jesus. My prayer is that in some way, no matter how small, you will realize He is also walking with you on your journey. On good days, heartache filled days, depressing days, happy days; every day, He is with you, and He will be faithful in every situation you face. It is so true, what a friend we have in Jesus!
